Avid Merrion Illustration (WIP)

This is my first painter 8 proper illustration i am working on. The subject matter is to illustrate a celebs hand luggage. And in my case it shows avid merrion from bo selecta! on tv, with items falling out of his back pack.

Ive decided to go with a crisp, fresh colour scheme, as it was intended to be done in acrylics, but due to time restraints it is now digital.

Not sure bout the colours :S Any comments most appreciated :D

Colors are always very changeable in digital.

try working in colors on a new image layer set to "multiply"

Thnx Hunger, i am going to try variations soon, but for now, ive just blocked in most of the preliminary colours ready for detail etc.

heres todays work. Ive started to really clean up the illustration, and so when thats all done, i will do the finishing touches i.e. the objects from his bag :) Theres a pic of the level of detail im working to atm as well if anyone cares :P
