Hello there!
My name is Miklos and i am from sunny Miami. I am 24 years old and have been drawing since i was about 5 but the problem is that i've been doing it off and on because i didn't take it serious. Now it's biteing me in the but because i am not happy with where my skills are and would like to progress. My great grandfather and my grandfather as well were artistis in Hungary and my father does quite well too. I am not happy with where my skills are so i am looking for guideance any way possible. I would love to ask my grandfather for advice but unfortunatly he passed away a while back. My favorite style is comic book style drawings and i would love to draw for comic book but i am far from that dream. My weaknesses to draw are peopole, hands, feet, HAIR and basically their whole body. I know i should study anatomy but i am not sure where to start. Please suggest me any books or refferances that you know that would help. I am not looking for "the easy way" to learn I am looking for the right way to learn. Thank you guys!
Here are a few of my drawings. I always look at pictures when i draw because if i try to draw from memory i just make terrible things. Usually don't even finish my pieces. Also i never use colors.
