Ive been working on this small scene for quite awhile now on and off. Its quite off the cliché martian design and I really want to get some antenae in, just cant find the good spot. The background is perhaps a little boring, any c n c there would help. And now, should he have a body? eek dont answer that :bash: :)

Yet that is difinitely not a cliche design, however the character looks almost human and because of that your proportions are looking way off.
I would suggest either more realistic human proportions or a more alien, not of this world design. The martian just looks like a pirate at this time.
Use the image as a starting point and redraw and altar (just in sketches) several times until you find a concept that kicks arse.
