Hello I'm a horrible artist, and I have written a novel and I need a map to put in the front panels of the book somewhere. I've drawn a very bad copy of what I want, and I was wondering if it would be possible if I were to copy my horrible drawing to my computer and then post it on here, if someone could take maybe a half hour of their time and draw a better version of what I've got here. It would be greatly apprectiated.
I looked into getting a "professional" to do it, and he said he was going to charge me close to two-hundred dollars, which I thought was a bit much for a simple doodle of a map.
If this is possible it would be greatly appreciated, but if no one wants to, or doesn't have the the time to do it, that's alright. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is willing to do this I'll post my "map" on here.
Thank You =)

There's a link to the picture. The image is too big to directly upload to the forum. I'll put a legend of what the numbers mean, so if you do decide to help me out, you'll understand what I was attempting to draw.
1. Mountains (with snow/glacier covered peaks)
2. Boomerang shaped Lake
3. Island within the boomerang shaped lake (tree covered)
4. Waterfall (on the mountain caused by the glacier run off)
5. Villiage beside a small mountain (yes those are supposed to be houses...)
6. River flowing off from boomerang lake
7. Tundra (almost no life, cold, few animals, few plants)[there are two tundras]
8. Forest, covered in trees, no sun light is let in from the trees blocking it
9. Larger Villiage almost a city, those are also supposed to be houses.. and a church too.
10. Cemetary, those are crosses...
11. River flowing off of boomerang lake
12. Memorial to a king, located in a forest
13. Road, forked, one going to the forest the other going out of the country.
14. A valley, located at the base of the mountains.. I don't know how to draw a valley..
15. Agricultural fields (farms)
16. Open fields, few trees
17. Long mountain range, surrounding the entrance to the country.
Feel free to change the order of the numbers, the way I have them laid out is confusing. I did this spur of the moment, and was too lazy to edit it.. for example the mountain can be #1 and the waterfall #2 and work your way down, if you just labeled the numbers I can easily tell which part of the map is which. If you decide to take this on, thank you very much.
Thanks Again =)

So you wrote a novel, which is obviously serious work, and yet you want a doodle as the one of the first things people will experience?
Spend the $200... that's a steal as it is.

1. You get what you pay for.
2. Unless you plan on self publishing, you get little to no say in the artwork. Don't send art in your submission package.
3.Self publishing is a lousy idea for fiction.
