Gonna start a scetchbook now that I have the drive to commit to becoming a better artist. I'm going to start by posting a bunch of stuff I've done in recent months, some in the last few weeks. I used to draw all the time when I was younger and throughout highschool, then I sorta just gave up on it. I've just started drawing again recently though so I really need to work at it.

Good stuff, you are on the right track... I also did a study of that Frazetta painting too. Master studies are a great way to learn everything.

Was pretty lazy at work last night. Only did one sketch. Working twelve hour swing shifts really sucks the inspiration out of you. Pretty much listened to music on my breaks and watched the the slides Bethesda put up of Adam Adamowicz's work. This guy was so awesome. http://fallout.bethsoft.com/adam/

Thanks I have a lot of fun with Alchemy but I kinda need to cut the cord and spread my wings lol. Or at least do better color... I don't really know color very well though, other than using analogous colors.

color is my weak point too-thing is you just have to start working with it to get better.
like i mentioned already, master-copies do wonders.

You do some truly amazing things in alchemy. What setting do you usually use? or is it a combination of multiple tools?
Also I dig the ten-pack on your barbarian

I used to use just the mirror tool and the pressure shapes brush. More recently Ive been using the pullshapes tool with either the bones or tool folder activated. I'll lay down some shapes and extract what I see with either the shapes or pressure shapes tool. All while the mirror tool is activated of course. Its much faster this way, more random and chaotic too. You can tell the difference in which ones I used just the pressure shapes tool for sure.

Man, you draw like...a fuck load!! I thought the first page would never end (in a good way, I mean). All your sketches look great, you are really getting down to it, and I can tell you used to draw because those first pages of Loomis took me ages whereas you seem to have mastered the basics in hours :D
