Hey, first image post. Well, it was for some 'thunderdome' comp or something, but i guess i got my wires crossed cos it seems to be over? Ah well, sorry about the poor scan, hope you like it, :) CRITS PLEASE :)

I like most of the design..but where the legs meets the torso looks wierd..like there is no waist

heh, yeah i know the waist looks dodgy- was too tired and lazy to be honest, finished inking at some silly hour of the morning, when i do most of my stuff :) just wanted to finish it, y'know? Foolish... yeah, it was intended to look like an insect somewhat, quite organic anyhow... when id finished it reminded me of guyver, particularly the head and perhaps the thighs. Cheers.

Hey! He's not eating with a fork. Where's the cutlery, I expected silver utencils! BUt seriously, this looks pretty cool. I like the monochrome and think it fits the image well. The hint of highlights on certain areas really helps bring him into the 3rd dimension, without them he'd be flat. I think the antennas could be made more bug looking by giving them sort of digits or segments. Maybe even try some more segments/exo-skeletal pieces attached to the armour. It could give it a more organic look. Nice work.

i think this would look really good as a thumbnail for 'little forking robot' software, if there was such a thing
