Okay, we might as well clear something up right from the off; we can't pay for what we're about to ask (as much as we'd like to) - hence we're in this section of the forums. Sorry about that.

Still with us? Great...

With a debut feature entitled STRAW MAN in Post Production, a few creative chaps are moving onto their follow-up project; the dark animation RAVENS' BOWER.

We're in pre-production on the film now; with a screenplay penned by myself (Matt) and Andrew Barker (Director of STRAW MAN) that people have, thus far, been very receptive to. People such as the heads of development at ICON Distribution and Paramount Vantage.

We have some voice actors attached (and others in negotiation). All seasoned veterans, and all quite awesome.

We're currently in the process of pulling together our Business Plan to take into our meetings with the aforementioned studios, and a whole host of Film Funding companies based in the UK.

This is where you come in. We need Art. We need YOUR (frankly awesome) Art. We need concepts, storyboards for one or two selected scenes, and even a short comic.

It's a big ask, and you'd be doing it for no money. What you would be getting, however, is an agreement that when funding is secured you will be brought on board as Concept and/or Storyboard artists on a circa £5m Animated Feature.

You'll - obviously - get credited for your work AND you'll get your artwork (and name) thrust in front of loads of major film studios and production partners.

We have a terribly exciting film to make but, right now, what we need more than anything is terribly exciting artists.

Please take a look at the very high-level information in the below post which gives you the bare bones. If you're interested, please contact me at the following address:

Thanks so much for reading. I hope to hear from you soon.

Title: RAVENS' BOWER
Director: Andrew Barker
Writers: Andrew Barker & Matthew Waldram
Producers: Adam Krajczynski & Matthew Waldram

Animated Dark Western/Fantasy: HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER meets MAD MAX.

Logline:
A mysterious Stranger returns to Ravens' Bower seeking revenge on the men who murdered him; even if it means taking the whole town apart.

About RAVENS' BOWER:
RAVENS' BOWER is set in an alternative 'Wild West' - one in which horses have been replaced by cars, and where ancient doorways between the 'real world' and Purgatory have been opened; literally unleashing Hell.

The look and feel of the film will lie somewhere between the iconic MAD MAX movies and the DARK TOWER novels by Stephen King. We're aiming for a real 'dark and dirty' Graphic Novel look to the film.

The town of Ravens' Bower has slipped away from the World and now exists as a place out of time, existing by its own laws and carrying the weight of its own mythology. Its architecture, the clothes, and the weaponry are at once ancient and, by degree, modern.

You're as likely to be gunned down by a Brothel-gal clutching a Mauser HSc as you are to be butchered by a Half-Daemon with a Katana - but better either of those fates than to be thrown at the mercy of the Bower's ruler, MR. BOBOSKIS.

Ravens' Bower is an amalgam of a dozen different centuries yet it is bound by none. It is a land beyond The Veil.

Matt.
