Hi, this is theoretically finished, but I'd like C&C on how to improve it, please.

wow
the subtle tones in this are great!
i think maybe if you added a few more highlights on the figure coming from the fire it would draw more focus to it.
very well handled! thanks for sharing these, im learning alot from them!

hey bean, this can be very cool! you need to work on the central figure more. shoot some reference for it. be specific about the lighting in your reference as it is so important. i always quote or pseudo quote andrew loomis about reference, he said, use it especially for lighting! you can draw and construct from your imagination in fact you should not use reference in the early stages but when it come to light creating volume on intricate forms go to real life for that.
this i going to be fantastic, keep pushing.
oh yea, when are you moving? i will most certainly give you a hand.

Thanks guys, this is exactly the kind of comments I want and need.
Skank, thank you for your nice comments. I've highlighted the hands slightly (10% or so), but not too much, I didn't want them to become the center of attention.
Jon, thanks so much, you are right as always. I didn't know Loomis until you mention it and I made some research. Turns out I knew his drawings but didn't know his book was so great (I found a .pdf version). It's excellent. So I followed yours (and his) advice and used a model. What do you think of this version?
And I'm moving February the 1st, a Sunday. Lars's coming too. Thanks bud. You'll see, the house's worth seeing.
Monsieur Rope: Merci mille fois. Thanks for the push :). I always find that CA.org works in mysterious ways, hehe. I like the idea of making more, but it's not going to happen anytime soon, though I certainly will keep it in mind, for it's a cool storyline in principle.
