We are developing a kids website to help them learn various subjects in a fun environment. When they enter their users area, we give them a navigation console to get around which is in a setting much like a cockpit. We allow them to select backgrounds to personalize their experience which means they can select from any RGB color or pre-set themes.
The pre-set themes are basically "painted backgrounds" that might give them the feeling of flying through a futuristic city, over a river in a jungle, an abstract (or whatever). We will pay $100 per background selected (as a royalty free). Need no less than 1680 pixels x 1050 pixels, 72dpi. It must be your art with no major copyright restrictions.
It would be great if each background has had minimal use in other projects (but for our limited budget, we understand). It would also be great if we had 5 pieces with a consistent style from one artist, but its not a deal breaker if its not.
