the first one outclasses the rest by a long shot. a few of the others have their moments, and succeed at the whole Andrew Jones thing way better than most do, but the initial image is the clear standout work. It doesn't rely on abstraction to create movement, looks more meticulous, planned and crafted.

Interested to see where you take the style you're developing, though. There is some cool stuff going on.

Oh, and put hands on that first guy!

I have to agree with Sourgasm about the first. It really takes the cake. The others are good too, but when i scroll quickly, i have the feeling to see just one big image.

The first one is awesome, and the last one with the crow is as well. The rest are all interesting, but as I was scrolling I actually thought I was seeing zoomed in versions of the same image.

So I went back and looked at them again and realized they were different. The 3rd one looks like one of those squid things from the matrix!

Overall I like the style, kind of like that black scratch paper we all had to use in high school that revealed white underneath.

I loved this series of books and to me, the first two are recognizable to the story, but I can't place the others, perhaps I should re-read them...Your style is awesome and dynamic though!
