Hello! Petite Symphony is looking for an artist to provided landscape, scenery and backdrops to join our team for our upcoming game developed with microsoft XNA.
The game itself is a 2D action RPG, with the character art being done by a seperate artist. We already have a demo with sprites of one of the main characters developed as well as a resource management system for the overall engine with a sprite sheet loading and rendering subsystem. We're currently in the midst of designing the overall engine layout have started to move onto full-scale development.
What we're looking for is someone to work as part of the team to make the levels and stages really pop with vibrant and interesting backdrops and scenery, layered to create a constant scrolling efect. The kind you'll see in most older games a la streets of rage etc.
It'll be 2 players (local co op and online multiplayer) and heavily story based with a fantasy steampunk look and aesthetic (As evidenced from games like Guardian Heroes or comics like Battle Chasers).
Please get in touch with any interest or queries! You can reach me at Saint(@)petitesymphony.com
Thanks!
