Hi guys, these are images from my new tarot card series... putting together a 72 card deck can be overwhelming but here's the first few; created in photo-shop, 4x6in.cards -- hope you enjoy, best wishes, Nathan.

I've never really gotten into tarot, but I do remember my mother trying her hand at it. She was able to... sort of... BS her way through readings by relying on subtle clues in the background/details of the cards. Again I don't know the interpretations/meanings of the cards, but these seem too simple, and lacking in detail to be actual cards. Its the little details that help the forgetful reader, and allow the person being read to see the meaning in the cards, and how they connect to the character of the card's title and their own lives. Just my thoughts.

These definitely look cool, but I wouldn't purchase them as a deck to work with. (Have dabbled into tarot a bit before.) As Jon_Lyle said, it's the many subtle layerings of meanings and symbolism that make a tarot card work. It's not about drawing a card and looking up what it means - it's to look at the card, meditate upon it, find out what it means to you personally and how that relates to your life. These are too "straight" to put it so. If you'd ever want to do another set, I recommend you just have a look around at existing decks and what the cards generally stand for, and have your own artistic interpretation of that.

Stylistically, however, they are awesome. I love the kind of sketchy (sorry, might be the wrong word, non-native-speaker here) style and the bold colours.

when these pictures turn into cards, you will just end up seeing a dark blob on an colored blank space, thers to much detail the characters thats gonna be lost awnyways, and to little overall detail in my opninion.
