Im new here. First I'd like to say hello to everybody.

Im an 19 years old student from germany. I'm already looking around here for a quiet long time and learned a lot.

I already posted two DSG pics but Im quiet happy with my newest one so I would like to know what you all think.

The subtle lighting is real nice! my only hint would be to try and remove that sketchy feel, you know, those black strokes here n there.

I think it´s important to say "I like it" or "I don´t like it" before indicating drawing fails, specially with a newbie. So first of all, I like it.

Well, now the technical part.

It´s not a horrible pic, but technically you have to work a lot. I mean, the face is well drawn -my favourite part of the pic-, but the rest of the figure looks weak. Use books, photos and yourself reflected in a mirror to learn about how to draw anatomy, clothes and that kind of basic things. And also how to render it in color: I like the color on the pic but I find it homogeneous - I think it needs more contrast, and some dark and bright points to create an interesting composition. I like some of the little details such as the pan around his kneck, and the face is great... reminds me of Tony DiTerlizzi.

Like the color scheme and lighting. I would only suggest a dropping a little shadow bolow the old man to made him more grounded

Its ok when you are hard with your crits. Just give it to me!
For this picture I have to say that it took a long time to render the face and then I just did the rest yery fast.
Its alays the same I almost never finish my pics.
