UPDATE: Well, here's what I'm calling final. I could spend ages tweaking but I'm eager to move on and apply the stuff I learned here on something NEW.
As you can see, I put little more work into the background, not alot, but hopefully enough. I also cleaned up a lot of areas and nudged the saturation up a bit.
Thanks for all the kind words and helpful suggestions:D

So, this is the first finished wacom painting I've done, but I can hardly call it done till it's been given a good once over by the community.
She's part of a series of character concepts I'm doing for my portfolio. I think there's a lot of ways i can push it, but it's quarter to eight in the morning and I have not slept, so I'll let you'all take it for a while.;)
Thanks

Wow, that screams "badass."
I love the detail, and the texture on her pants.

I like this one:D . Love the entire look of her, very badass indeed...o.0.. Also, love the color for the hair, sort of keeps things light a bit, sexy even hahaha. I too am not that fond of the background though. Maybe just a little more.

First time eh... hope it isn't the last. Very nicely done but probably just a couple of 'rushed' touches hurting the overall image. The background as mentioned and possibly some of the dust - seems to be covering the up the shoes in a way that isn't all that convincing. Minor things but love the way that you've managed to create some of those textures!

One word:
Hot.
:)
Nice job on it. It looks really great, and bad ass as said before. A few things I would add though, maybe add a few dark streaks to the hair to make it fit with the whole piece. Although the pink does add to the image of a rebel lawbreaker.
Her boots could have a little dark in them, maybe near the bottom, to bring them out of the dust just a bit to make them look better. I think the dust is a little distracting.
Her left arm is bothering me (the one without the sword). Theres a spot near her shoulder that looks like it wasn't finished, and her hand seems a little rough around the edges. Maybe just go over that spot with the blur tool to make it seem more like skin, and add a few highlights near the shoulder to bring it out and I think it would look very good.
Man it looks great, nice job on it, truly. Looks absolutely delicious! :):chug:

i love the detail in the figure. However, when i first looked at the piece, the figure wasn't the first thing my eye went to; it was the un-detailed background. I think it brings the piece down, which is a shame since you did such a good job on the figure.

OK! Now we're cooking with gas. It's nice to know if your stuck for what else to do you've got hundreds of people literally at your fingertips to tell you.
SOoo I'm definately working more on the background. Not to mention the hair and the eye. Plus less dust more boots and so forth. Lots to do. Thank you all for your time.
Here's some details. There not very tight when you get up close but that may change...

Looks great...another crit though...her left hip seems out of place...doesnt look right. Its almost dislocated. The groin should be located further up or the hip further down...once thats fixed, well you got yourself one helluva lady there pardner....hehe

hi
im new. this was good enough to make me want to post and not just look around.
love this design...all except the techno-eye peice thingie. in the context all of the other things present it just seems out of place.
other than that, unique for sure. i wish everyones designs were as "new" as this.

i like it,but why did you take out the dust at her feet.i think that added much more of a desert feel to it.make some fast blown dust at her feet, only at her feet, not the rest and you have convinced me.
edit: and some more rocks.the upper part of the image is great and the lower part(legs etc) looks utterly boring now in comparison.
