*NOTE* I've just realised i posted using my old account, Im actually going under the user name DeadPepper now. Sorry about that.

Now that its the new year i think its time for me to seriously start improving. So i'm posting the first three pages from my new sketch book looking for advice and C+C. I'm determined not to be another mediocre noob for the rest of my life.

First: ok, so its the most over-used subject for sketches but i had to start somewhere.

Second: Advert from a magazine.

Finally: Her right eye has really been giving me hell but i think i've got it right this time.

I think my pics are too muddy, i definitely need to work on neatening my edges and improving my shading techniques.
Any C+C is more than welcome..
:D

Like what you did with the hand and I recognize the references. You have a previous problem of mine...
EYES
The way I fixed it is to look the drawing in the eyes every few seconds as though I was having a conversation with it. That helps you catch facial problems before they escallate.

Hope I helped
