Hello All! This is the new VOTING thread for the Amazon Warrior Woman SUPER STYLISED CHALLENGE, which has been created for your final entries.

IMPORTANT: Now has come the time for the following artists to post their fantastic final images in this thread.

800 or 1024 sized images are fine for this Voting stage, but please remember that high-res versions are great for 2DArtist magazine, so if you come in the top 10 we'd love it if you could email accross your high-res versions.

Voting will then start immediately afterwards and will run until 15th July 2009 10:30AM GMT+1.00 (British Summer Time: http://wwp.britishsummertime.co.uk/)

We will post to commence the Voting on the 8th July.

New Voting Rules and Restrictions

In order for your vote to be valid, your post count must be 50 or above AND you must have been registered on the ConceptArt.org forums for at least 6 months. The ONLY exception to this rule is if you have contributed an entry yourself to the challenge.
If you want to vote but are not a contributor of the challenge, you need to have been registered on the ConceptArt.org Forums for at least the last six months, AS WELL AS have 50 posts already to your name.
It goes without saying that all voters MUST look through each of the entries before posting their score.
Finally, don't vote for yourself or get your friends to vote for you in an attempt to influence votes, it's not an attractive quality.
The 3DTotal team are all able to vote from their CA.org accounts some of us have fewer than 50 posts but we know who we are!

We will award 3pts for a 1st place vote, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. Then we will add them up and ship out your prizes!

Here's mine. So many great entries this month.

Macaruba - great realization on the elderly amazon woman. I love what you did with this. I like the faintly seen "ghost" people, as it suggests the memory aspect of her story.

Freddy Dark - very epic piece. I think the addition of the women fighting above is very compelling.

Artiphats - WOW. This piece is beautiful. I would buy a print of this and hang it on my wall :) I'd like to see some more pin-up art from you, as your style on this is fantastic.

GRMC - Another great warrior - I really thought the black and white version was very realistic, but the color is even better. I like her outfit, and the style of hair you gave her. This almost feels like concept art for Lord of the Rings....

Trashy - What a great, unique piece you have here. I always enjoy your take on these challenges. I learned a lot from your unique vision.

Grand Massa Mr. Spect - I like this final piece - it has a lot of drama in it, as well as the graphic novel "look". I am curious about your sketch process, as it looks like some of the early pieces I have a hard time seeing what was going on. Care to share your "recipe"?

Antartican - Wonderful work again. So bright, crisp and colorful

Jpedro - Another great pin-up style piece. She has a great expression. I really like it.

Ok, so the final ever vote - very sad! :( I actually have over 6 that I'd like to put into my top 3 (as usual), so I've had to be really tough and force myself to think about the concept of the stylised warrior, as there are so many wonderfully painted submissions this month that I could happily list away! So, here are the 3 that seem to best say "Amazon Warrior" to me through a stylized concept:

TheAntarctican, nice finished looking illustration in a vector art type rendering. looks really good.

Angel inthe UK, cute Amazon, the coloring almost looks like it's done in natural media with colored pencils...

Blackcherry, love the Lion, almost feel sorry for it. the coloring lookss good, some lines you used to define muscles on the amazon i would personally just get rid of, like that leg muscle on her left leg above the knee, or the lines defining the sixpack...cool little image though :thumbsup:
