Hey guys! It's been so long since I've done anything for the CA activities, and this one is a big one, so I'm trying to get back in the CA groove and figured this would be a good one for that. I'm both nervous and inspired by the competition there's bound to be here.. Seen a lotta good stuff already! So here's to all a' ya'll! Good luck to everyone! :yayca:

Gonna start off with some random sketchery I've done after scrapping my original flimsy idea... Toying with the idea of a mechanical midwife and womb..

looks really good ^_^ look forward to you developing that big midwife/spider thingy.
Know what you mean about being totally inspired and totally nervious about this competition, good luck to that both of us =)

Got a little work in today as well :) Added people to the wombs receding in the bg, cropped, some color work.. the water.. and general noodling :) Crits are very welcome! Thanks for looking!

This is coming along great. I would suggest adding darker elements in the foreground. You could also add some red lights here and there to add to the omminous look. A white light behind the spiderbot would also help it pop and add depth. Basically go for a Matrix-y type feel.
