The piece is solid. I like it. The contrast between the handwriting texture, the photo, and the Photoshop brush is very cool. Nice choice of color, too.
This is the "Concept Art" forum, though. It's hard to critique your piece as a conceptual design for a game or movie, which is probably why you're not getting feedback.
You might wish to post it on DeviantArt or another, more general-purpose forum.

i personally don't understand this type of art. does it have a purpose? is it supposed to represent something? or is it supposed to be a more poetic approach? is it supposed to freak me out like it does? cause im a little freaked out. well whatever its purpose... the only comment i can honestly make is that its interesting and is intriguing.

Wow. I don't know why I love this sort of art, but it is damn sexy. Love the sexiness, yo. My only crit would be to make the text a little different. Like maybe make it a little messy or different colors. God that looks great.

actually, i dont know why people make this type of work either...but i think i know one reason, and that is the reason i made this...ive been kinda down lately so instead of really complaining about it to everybody, i decided to make this...and i kinda like it.

I'm a little uncertain about the words that run vertically along the right side. However, if the intention was to visually mean something that is hard to understand, then it works!
It's quite a violent composition (so much red spray), and it presents a number of visual cues to a narrative:
-an element of time with the clock numbers.
-a hastily written letter in the middle that is intentionally obscured.
-a few simple words from the left as if almost a reply.
-the starkness (black and white) of the figure.
- red splotches
- the wall-like gradiation
- the downward movement of the big black and red brush strokes.
- the entire picture is askew.
Grab a large slab of masonite board or a large stretched canvas, some gesso, some charcoal, black and red ink, some paint, your pencil, and an eraser.
This image would look great at a larger scale and on a wall.

i agree with davi,
on conceptart.org i don't search for digital art (wallpapers etc.)
don't think they belong here, this forum is more traditional and very good at it.
simply enjoy daily browsing here :)

I agree
ConceptArt.org appears to be mostly focused toward the arts of illustration, computer aided illustration, 3d sculpture (in the tradition of Rodin), and computer aided 3d modelling. All are very worthwhile studies, imho, but not in the same vein as the formal process Sgantman presented, which is also equally relevent, but under different creative rules (in the tradition of an artist like Rauschenberg) .
I strongly believe that artists that work in different mediums can learn from one another. This is why I often visit this site even though I am neither an illustrator nor a sculptor by trade. Both new conceptual and new process driven possibilities can often be found in the visual solutions of other artists. Sgantman's solution is just different than most found on this site. And yet, his formal process does appear in many successful illustrative solutions.
