it`s great that you know where you wanna go, and what you have to do for that. I mean, you are 13. If you study continuously you`ll achieve your goals.
Now go and rock this thread :)
I wanna be speachless in some years when I can see your progress!

Keep it up, Marco. And like I said on MSN, just slow down a little and watch where everything goes, precisely. I wish I had started like this when I was 13.

Hi Marco. You're doing a lot better than I was at that age. I was still stuck on drawing dbz >.< lol.
These studies are looking good. Just remember to stick with it and always push through no matter how painful (or boring) it feels. You're doing very well already and I know you will be one of the greats on this forum in the years to come :)
-PS- I'm going to subscribe to this thread so I can keep up with your progress, good luck on your journey.

Umm a rioter, no ref, firt time in my life i drew a girl. Some mistakes i can spot right off the top of my head is breasts are way too big, legs too short, wrists are stubby, and the pic is kinda diagonal.
SRY IF ITS BIG xD

The studies are looking great. Try doing some faces from life or from a photo reference. Good luck!

Wow man, that's really good you found your goal at the age of 13. If you stick with it you'll be good in no time!
Furthermore it's best to start with studies as you are doing, but don't forget to do some still life too ;)

i don't think that knowing where lines overlap on muscles is really helpful.. because from different forms and angles the masses interact differently, so what might be a line overlap in one pose could be the opposite in another pose. its probably best just to learn about the size and shape of every segment of the body.

I'm going to keep an eye on this one. It's always exciting seeying people develop that started early :)
And you're of to a good start too!
*Some tips I would have given to myself when I started out:
Draw from life often. Also draw from reference.
Use a mirror to draw parts of yourself.
Do lots and lots of Bridgman anatomy studies.
Read up on perspective.
Learn to keep in mind body proportions at all times.
Learn about rythm in a pose and do gesture drawing to loosen up.
Be loose.
Keep drawing the same thing over and over! Doing just one study of something isn't enough, you need to fill pages of the same subject to get a good grasp of it.
