Hey CA, I stumbled upon this sweet website and wanted to share it, it has loads of pictures from abandoned hospitals, forts, insane asylums, factories, and sewers. Have a gander :)

Best link-- the "horror labs", and abandoned vetrinary school, full of preserved specimans, creepy! (http://www.forbidden-places.net/urban-exploration-the-veterinary-school-of-brussels-anderlecht-)
Also awesome is the abandoned plaster cast factory..there's one of a torso/head cast in the bottom of a vat thing with all decay around it, sooo creepy.

I love me some abandoned sites, but that vet lab takes the cake. I think I just had a goregasm.

Awesome, but using Flash for displaying photos makes saving them to disk as reference harder :(

Look in Chernobyl. You'll get your ultimate fill. Pypriat, actually but whatever. It's amazing to look at a city frozen in time...

The vet lab is awesome, brings back a bit of nostalgia for me. Though..I bawwed a bit at the doggy head. Still looks so friendly!

I've heard about a site like that, or that one a year ago maybe on a different site I visit. It's pretty cool, and interesting. I don't think I'd want to go inside one though :U

Detroit is well known for the number and quality of its abandoned buildings. This is a pretty good site of the subject http://www.forgottendetroit.com/index.html

Make sure you at least check out the old michigan central train depot, it is has to be among the creepiest old buildings in existence, and is a must see for anyone who visits detroit.

They are supposed to be demolishing it soon, but given what happened with old Tigers Stadium it will probably be there for another ten years.
