Here is a quick little sketch I did. I'll put up a new complete version soon, this is just a basic sketch (oh and by the way, this is not referring to "Rogue" from X-Men). Please let me know what you tihnk.

rather than asking people to go through a series of steps just to see this pic...try finding hosting that allows you to link to other sites.

as far as your pic goes...needs a lot of work...i suggest studying anatomy more carefully...worry about proportions...negative space and silhouette...form...

draw from life...concentrate on shapes and values...

concentrate on line quality and weight

also...push your concept further...this looks like a million other chicks with swords that i've seen before
