So after 4 years of barely doodling, it's time to get myself in gear and try to clamber back up on that ornery beast also known as the "yeah, I can draw' horse. My anatomy sucks, I can barely remember the color wheel, and I have hardly ever used photoshop or painter. Goals are: feel comfortable drawing again, especially real things ie people & landscapes. Learn digital painting. Master the horse of many pretty colors. Time? As long as it takes.

Here's the efforts of the last day or so, photoshop style. 1st two images are some sort of fantasy blah, the other two are obviously anatomy studies. Trying out brushes, layers, seeing what works & what doesn't.

From what I can see from these sketches your anatomy isn't all that terrible. Were these sketches from a reference?

I guess I'm just a harsh self-critic... the 2 studies were referenced from random pictures online, so yes. The body study was an exercise in "look at the picture, close it, then draw." Thanks though!

It's not a problem.

Nice, although i can't really say much without saying more. Your anatomy isn't so bad but much more work is required.

Characterdesigns.com has a library of good references and posemaniacs.com has semi-possible models and tools.
