Hi!
Since i don't have a scanner(and thats why i'm delaying the opening of my sketchbook here..) i'm considering to buy one.Can you guys recommend me something good? I just need to be able to scan in the highest quality as possible to be able to ink and color my sketches later, the most basic use don't ya know..
I have a small amount of money for this so dont tell me something like:
"Well HP has its Super-EuphoriaTwin Model - it only costs 1 million dollars.."
:-)

Any modern one is decent to good, I use the one on the Pixma Multi-Function and it's rather good, drivers are very important and the ones the Canon have lots of good options and you can even save profiles for diferent tasks.

I have a Lexmark X2600 that I bought not long ago. The thing works like champ. And the nice thing about it is that it will do some very high resolution scanning, like 19,200 dpi.

I have an Epson Perfection V200 Photo that I got off their website (I think?) for about $110. It works great, the color match is generally quite good, and it was fairly cheap. I don't know what it's highest resolution is-- I think it might be around 12,000+ dpi, but honestly... I can think of very few situations where you need to scan at anything over 600dpi. That will give you a good resolution to work at even for very complex pictures... and unless you have a ridiculously good computer, I think Photoshop is going to die trying to work on a file scanned any bigger.
