I'm new around here, and I'm a lousy 15 years old student from Indonesia (currently studying Malaysia but live in Thailand).
All of my painting are traditional and I'm not into digital 'yet' even though i had a tablet, but I'm gonna focus on traditional for my coursework in 2 years.
I'm a BIG FAN od WANIMAL and David Palumbo so its a honor if i'm able to talk with them through this thread >,<
Enough with the intro, I'm here in order to fix my current ability and improve it from the help of all of you :D
I REALLY NEED ADVICE and TUTORIAL from all of viewers!!
since my old master had just graduated from the school and he's actually a member in conceptart (do you know 'Aberzheim'??)
so here's some work that I've done in the school:mod:
Study of WANIMAL's recent work! Done in acrylic on A1 paper
705620
Study of Benjamin Zhang's old work, done in water colour :D
705624
Experiment bubblish texture (messing up) on the progressed painting :p

D : Wow.... Your only 15? I think your better than me at still lifes and I'm 20.
These all look great. It'd be cool to see some work coming from you and more studies from life. Do you ever do portraits? It's a good place to start cause you can get your friends to sit for you.
Your doing fantastic! Keep it up. I can't wait to see more.

all the works in this thread are in fact made in my free time or in the club(together with Aberzheim) except the big painting of the crab, its my final work for junior exhibition :D

Hi!! I think your work is just beautiful! I don't know why you call yourself lousy, whether your art is excellent or otherwise. You're not lousy, okay? :D Try to say some more positive stuff for yourself, too. It'll keep you going further, I'm sure. ^_^
I love that guy in post 3...very dramatic look! I also love the fruit in post 5...looks good enough to eat! :D Keep it up, and 78 isn't too shabby for exams (man I hate exams)!

hhaaahahaa my laziness is just overwhelmed, and Its not my time yet to brag around and mostly not my style pfftt (there are loads of pros around)
but, honestly i think i like my crab post cos it takes me 3 weeks (less than 4 days in each week)to finish it and I'm proud to present it even though the real artist laughed at the work :p
