Same old story: a few months ago I saw some work I really liked, and I thought I bookmarked it, but now can't find it. I'm not sure if I stumbled on it from CA or not. It was the blog of someone who was doing a series of drawings based on The Odyssey. I believe they were in ballpoint pen on index cards, and they were really wild reinterpretations, featuring giant R. Crumb women, dudes in bluejeans and big hats, various anachronistic props, and a high level of disturbing awesomeness. Seems like that would be enough info for Google, but I'm having no luck with my keyword combos.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Thanks!
(btw, my own interpretation of The Odyssey is almost done, and I'll post some links soon.)

What you described sounds cool Mickey, and I gave it serious thought, but I got nothing.

Man! Wouldn't I love to see the "Fritz the Cat" version of James Joyce's Ulysses, now that I think of it.

Aha! I finally found them. http://www.davidbyersbrown.com/2008/08/august-series.html

And only four pages to go on my book, woot!
