Sketchbook Thread

I made a thread around 8 pm yesterday in the sketchbook forum, and when I had finished it, there was a box that said that the thread is waiting for mod approval or the likes.

Its been about 18 hours already, are threads supposed to take this long to show up? :T If I have to activate my acco before I post, the email for conceptart forum activation had not arrived as well. I'm new around here, so I don't really know if this is a question that has been answered somewhere; I already searched through posts in this forum.
