In the end, I had to go with Weeda. One could tell right off what his god was about and what animal it derived from, and it looks nice to boot. : )

to put simply: XD

Jather: well, i tried to texture the various materials but i didn't want to make the armour damaged or dirty in anyway as i was dealing with a god! so in the end the texturing was a fail!

Hunchback: it is really awesome as it is... just a bit more suggestion of spidery-ness would've been great, like even a spider, or spiders, somewhere within the area, like on the walls or her!

Corza: he is cool... but my complain, as to D_Nightmare, is the opposite to mine on hunchback's, yours is a bit too non-anthro, seriously, the wings and head where a bit too blatantly obvious and it would've been nice to see something a little more discreet, but not too discreet like Hunchback


right then... onto the next one... i can't wait!

Jerik, you have to look real close, there are spiders there. I was shooting for an atmosphere over smack up obviousness. It something thats tricky to learn and well worth the time.

Again man i think you can put more thought into yours too. An armoured guy?
Altair in assasins creed was based off of an eagle in the character development phase if you dont already now,but he wasnt a god. :D i feel that the design feels a bit tooo obvious you know?

Whatever, your the one who spent the time on it (30 hours is a lot) so i wont be pissy or anything.

hunchback lol i just noticed the small spiders u put on the chick, on the knees and dress etc, soz for not picking up on that b4, its coz of the angle i view my screen at, i aint exactly short so have to have it raised as to not kill my posture, so the darks were black for me, stood up and saw the wee spiders, lol,

next comp come on NEED TO DRAW, and need to think about wat i am doing :P

I think I'll still vote for Jerik :), tho it is true Hunchback's piece is awesome. But there is still a problem with the spiders tho, they are hard to see and could be considered as bullet wounds, as if the chick has been shot.

and hey, i'm sorry about the armour... i did manipulate the situation, i wanted to draw this character for a long while now, he isn't originally a god but holds rather high godlike power and responsibility. he is basically a paragon of assassins and i wanted something out of the ordinary in that not a lithe figure in black with blackbird features! (not a direct attack on you Corza, honest!)

A lot of work went into yours Jerik, and it shows. I'm still awed a bit by all that detail, and I'm glad you cut it down just a bit so it focused more on your character. The chest plate does bother me a little, why does it tilt to the left like that? His posture doesn't seem like it would cause it.

Hunchback, yours certainly does reflect an atmosphere suitable for spiders, but I'm unsure what your god does as a spider goddess, and I am curious. : O It was well painted, though, in my opinion, the idea not very well executed. But still, you didn't have very much time on it; it looks remarkable for just a couple of hours. : )

Congrats you two. Whoever wins, it's obvious you guys are the creme of the crop. ; ) I'll have to work much harder next round.

I will post a new challenge if nobody minds it. You can always ask a mod to close it if there are too many people against me taking the "lead" for this once. ;)
I'll pick a theme out of the idea topic to make sure it's something most like - I made something out of the other idea's: "Between two worlds" ^^

In 10 mind I'll have the topic up and running, but I'll set the deadline on 11 July - A Saturday since of the late hour XD
