nice colours :) i like how they add life to the images

i think you need to focus on the construction underlying a drawing; make as many studies of possible from life (though good books work, too ;)) on everything - anatomy, still lives, landscapes, lighting and whatever else there is; it will give you a lot more control over an image

good luck :D

i agree with pauscorpi, your color works have an elegance to them, but could be even better with some anatomy practice. very promising start you have here :)

Thanks guys, I tried to work on the structure alittle bit more here with this face:

I don't think it's as good as it could be I think there may still be a few problem ( of course LOL)

Thanks for the comments and I shall start studying understructures and anatomy a bit more.

Thanks for checking out my sketchbook section... I do like the draw a few superheroes now and then. Right now I am working on a comic book that is sort of superhero related. More fun retro scifi in the end though.

Yes I use the hardbound sketchbooks because I am a bit obsessive that way...;) You see the first sketchbook I started was like that so I have kept them the same ever sense. It is also easy to shelf them that way as now I have over 41! As to the paper and smearing I am not sure if one is more or a smear type than another. Remember the same companies put out the same books at times so I am sure they are using the same paper in both types. I guess just keep asking around, feel the paper, ask at the store, etc.

Anyways I checked out your work and it looks like you enjoy drawing the human body, face, etc. You have a nice start. I for one would like to see you try different media like pen, pencil, charcoal, etc. Draw the underlying structure. Like skeleton, shapes, etc. Think of the body as being made of shapes, etc. Draw from life many a time if you can. Family, friends, go to figure drawing class/events, etc. Keep up the good work!
