Make sure to draw right down to the feet on these pics. I really like some of the anatomy but some of it is off. On the middle pic, the arms are different lengths. It would look cool if you gave him wings or something comming from his shoulders. Make sure to keep posting.

Demon note.

are not shaped after human form.

Bible says satan was a arch angel and was
was cast out of heaven and took a third of
the angels with him.

so i be more inclined not to show them in
human anatomy form unless you retitle the piece.
to be a man demon posed.

great art thou.

Sketch: Thanks for the crit. I was aware of the anomolous arm length, but, failed miserably to correct it, out of sheer laziness. I actually tried to draw all the way down to his feet, on the page I was drawing on, but I ran outta paper down at his ankles. Ain't that about a bitch? So I just decided to cut it off in the scan, so as to tighten up the composition as best I could. You're right, though. It's my own damn fault for not starting at the right place. I should read the rest of that "Dynamic Figure Drawing" book I have, too, while I'm at it. I'll keep posting... thanks for the reply.

Darrell Bowman: Preach it, brother! Can I get a hail Satan?! heh. Thanks... I think. I'll draw a scaly, winged donkey, next time and that'll be the demon. I guess I should retitle this one "Angel of the Lord." :evilbat: and the hits keep comin'.... :D

After studing it would be cool to have some jewerly.
two wrist bracelets, a ring on it right hand finger and
some sort of chain around it neck with a necklace
In the center a liquid gem give off a light.
Written around the outside is ozzie osbourne rocks.

hah! I like the wing. "Ozzie Osbourne Rocks." Looks like he is what he eats... I think I might go ahead and add wings to the drawing. As for apparel, I'd like to add some of that, too.. but I think he'll remain a naked, sans genitalia, angry monster-guy... until I draw another sketch.

Ok, so I had to shade the other guy in the corner. Made a few adjustments, too. C&C the hell out of it.

Your stuff is awsome, keep it up.
Darrell - About your demon note, i wonder. Since each religoun has it's own 'adjusted' bible... i wonder where you took that note from. - Just intersted. :)

Firs one is Isaiah chapter 14 verses 12 to 15

talks about How art thou fallen from Heaven O lucifer.
vs: yet thou shalt be brought down to hell to the sides of
the pit.

Second one is Ezekiel 28 verse 12

describes his beauty.
Vs 14 thou art the anointed Cherub.
[ not annointed human ]

We know he was no mortal man.
And in the book of Job he ascends to heaven
and chats with God.
no human can do this.

i cant speak for the Quran and or Hebrew believes.
sure you could do a search in google for your studies.

it would be the same as studing ancient myths
greek myths and having zeus as a fairy.
www.worldoffroud.com is full of books on fairies etc.

anyways hope this helps you in your studies.

Haiku: Thanks.
Darrell: Interesting stuff... I'll have to mark that page. I wish I knew exactly what a cherub looked like. heh.. actually, scratch that, no I don't. That'd probably mean payin' a visit to the fiery depths and I'm not too keen on that.

Regardless, here's yet another sketch... a work in progress. Call it what you will.

Nice loose sketch. You should post a tighter version, though, that separate the figures, more.

"Flys like a locust wings.
exodus 10:12-20
sting of a scorpion
ezekiel"

That sounds like a military helicopter. A Huey, or an Apache, perhaps...
