How do I do this in Corel Painter 6?

I'm trying to add a gradiant background to my picture, but there's this little white line around everything that I can't seem to get rid of! Help?

Hi,

It would help a lot if you can describe your image, number of Layers, what's on the Canvas and what's on each Layer, etc.

Then list the steps you've taken that result in the "white line".

If you can tell us enough, it will be more likely we can give you a solution.

Well, there were 7 layers, then before I saved, I combined them into the canvas, or else it wouldn't save. I've used the "fill" tool with white (which only deletes part of my outline), told it to select all white, then inverted, then posted it to a picture with the background already done, and I think that's pretty much it. I've also tried putting another layer and doing the background on that, but it covers the foreground, even with the opacity down. The picture is in "It's Finally Finished" under "It's fan art...but finished nonetheless". Maybe that can help?

Make sure Anti Aliased is checked, or else you will get little white spots around the edges. Also, make sure your tolerance is at a good level (32 is usually the good on, its the default).

If I put it anywhere near that high it selects half the foreground as well. ;_; Do I need to just make my lines bolder? If so, how do I do that without tracing around every little line?
