My latest "artwork".

(only a small part of the picture)
I know it's litterred with dozens of mistakes, so I'm gonna need some help from you.
Why not start with the eyes? I've examined them closely and I've found out that something's wrong. What that is, I have no idea. And since I have no idea what exactly is wrong with the eyes, I don't know how to fix them.
Please help me.

When I draw zombies, I almost always (except when they're supposed to be extremely fresh) give them a skeleton nose (just two holes basically, think Micheal Jackson without his plastic prosthetic ;-) ).
About your picture though... I can see what you mean, but I don't quite see a way to remedy it. I'd decay him a little more, and add some more detail. I'll see if I can find any of my humble zombie sketches...

ummn i think to get the face back to the right proportions if its the right word you need to redo the nose you seem to have made the nose turn along with the head but not the mouth so everything below the nose doesn't fit i think if you made a more clear definition from the nose to the mouth and move it slightly so its straighter and more prominent the eyes wouldn't look quite so 'odd'

I tend to agree with FFS - try to get the big proportions working first, then come back and have a look at detail. In terms of proportions, the left hand side of the image has the face too big. Think of a centerline running down the middle of the face (passing between the eyes and down the middle of the nose), and look at how much is on each side of that line.

Grab yourself a mirror and do the pose.
Start the picture with the basic head and shoulder shapes and proportions first, then block in the major areas of shadow and highlights - the image needs more contrast. Try a sketch with three or four tones only including a stronger dark tone and a brighter highlight.
After you have the pose and lighting worked out, the refining and alterations can begin. Worry about the eyes, nose, fangs and blood then.
Good start - Keep practicing.

I am a huge fan of the zombie genre and the make up artists that bring them to un-life, Tom Savini and all of the KNB guys! The best thing about zombies is that when drawing them all "rules" are off! If you don't like the way the eyes look, poke em' out! Rip his face off! Hang em' out onto a maggot ridden cheek bone!
Sure you want it to look human-ish or so...but don't ever stop having fun with them!
