Hey everyone,
it's too damn hot to do anything but sit here and post...that is, until the sun goes down.

And speaking of suns, (what a segue!) I found this amazing book while I was Christmas shopping that I thought I'd share with you all.
The book is called 100 Suns and it is a photography book about nuclear test explosions.

It is divided into different types of test detonations- those done in the desert, those done under water, and also those detonated in the sky.

Not only that but it has photos of military test subjects standing in open fields with no protection as nuclear bombs were detonated nearby.

It is an amazing book and horrifying at the same time.

Oh...another one I saw which was quite interesting was Annie Leibovitz' 'American Music'

Here's a little blurb about it:
