Hey all, I'm new here. Figure this was as good a place as any to start. I'm still pretty newb with photoshop, and it's my goal to work really hard to improve this summer (and beyond!) and hopefully you'll see that progress in these pages! Thanks for checking it out, and any critiques/comments are welcome!

My most recent drawing (as of this post) trying to improve working with lighting and color shapes rather than raw line work!

I'm only posting recent stuff so its as "up to date" as possible.

Nice to see you put your work up in a sketchbook!

It's a great place to receive critique, comments, etc. It'll just take a bit to get noticed enough to get critique. For the moment, post lots of images, show them what you're made of!

As for critique itself, I'd say try to work with more detail. Your ideas are looking good, now it's time to start refining them. Push yourself, and you'll find your art will amaze you! At the same time, keep working on roughs and technique. Just don't forget to eat every once in a while...

The idea of the bear is pretty good, it's really expressive, how about trying to structure it with simple shapes?
