I like your textures and yourcolors so far
was that a person in the first pic? Are you going to add that back in? I think it helped to clarify your theme, right now it's very interesting and intriguing, but not clear that it is rising from the earth.
Looks like it's gonna be good in the end :)

I would like to see the guy from the start again. A size comparison is always good.

When I looked at the first page I thought the "Thing" would be made of rocks and stone and more breaking out of earth.

The current state looks nice too, although its not clear what the creature is made of. Maybe aou can think about that

here my second take on the new born , the concept of a female droid incubating a newborn child for survival.started out on traditional canvas then went digital and added some custom textures.
