photoshop airbrush settings

is there a setting that will allow me to angle the spray of my airbrush with the tilt of my stylus a-la painter X airbrushes?

Not sure what you want to achieve seeing as i've never used painter (nor an airbrush for that matter) but try messing around with the settings under the brushes tab (F5). Under shape dynamics, scattering etc there are these dropdown menus with an option called "Pen tilt", might be what you'r looking for i guess.
