First draft on new born, till don't know what will emerge from there, just an image that pops up in my mind when I got the topic.

It kind of speaks for itself--they have obviously discovered something unknown, the story can be made up by the viewer. :)

Canvas extends waaaaay too high. I'm assuming the focus is supposed to be at the bottom, but with so much space my eyes don't want to go there.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the c&c, really sorry about the slow update, ran into some technical issues over the past few weeks, finally got it sorted. So here it is, my second idea for new born, I will go back to my first one, later on to see if I can channel it toward a new direction perhaps, it something I do personally to crank new ideas out of myself, once again all c&c are welcome.

Hi everyone, have been busy on a number of cases and assignments, so I haven't got much time to work on my entry until now, but here is a quick update, hopefully will finish in time....

cool, i like it. love the colors/ I like the mood a bit better in the previous version, it had a more friendly sunny look, but i guess thats maybe not the mood you want here.
The most close object bothers me a little bit, i liked the open view in the older version better where i could see more of the water stream. This roughly curved shape breaks the layout a bit imo.
The scaling is not yet convincing, the castles look so small, feels like the foreground is close. I guess you will fix that later by adding smaller objects and landscape details.
