Haven't posted for a long time. Got a job as an allrounder artist for a gaming company which kept me too busy to do much of my own work. This picture came about after finishing doing concept art for a rhythym based Wii game targeted at tween girls - it was a great way to get back to what I really like doing.
I guess the vikings have some bad karma to work through after all their looting!
I have a bit more time on my hands now so will try to post more often.
Cheers.

I've added a new piece that I did after watching the tut on 3D for pre-vis on the massive black website. The pic was kinda fun to do and definitely something different for me.

I've updated the hydra pic, it keeps calling me to come back to it and make it better.

Cool...Lots of BIG drama happening in this image.

Two thumbs up!

nice action, I really like the water, beautiful! I think you could be using colour more to separate the elements and edges more... the middle hydra overlapping it's self is not very clearly defined.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

Spherco - I've been aware of your work for a long time and a fan so it's nice to hear your comment.

ditchman- I agree with your suggestion about the middle hydra head. I should be able to make it "pop" out a bit more especially on its shadow side. I'll do the fixes soon and repost, thanks.

Here is a new concept for a barbarian character. I'm hoping to get time to blueprint him and build him in 3D later on.
The idea is that he'll have 3 attack types. The axe is a heavy and slow attack, the short swords are fast and light attacks (one in each hand) and the throwing knives are a missile attack which "magically" reappear in his hands for infinite ammo.
