In Need of Band logo

I'm trying to get my band a logo, so hopefully someone here can help. Our band name is Mutation Within and we're a funk jam band type of thing. No real preferences on what it looks like, so it's very much up to you to be creative. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Im Zachary Taft and ive been searching for work and happened to stumble by your post. I love music and especially funk of all things. Music is a huge part of my motivation as far as art goes. I think i would be able to make the entire cd album if you feel im suitable. I'm a illustrator/graphic designer with a splash of fine arts. Ive been working mostly digital recently but i am more then capable of mastering any medium or style.
