Manga
. Ah! Megami Sama (Oh! My Goddess).
. Chirality was also pretty good.
Comic
. Fate Of The Blade. Does anyone know if this is still being made. I haven't seen an issue for a few months now :(
. Witchblade. Unfortunately it went downhill after Michael Turner left.
. Wetworks. When Whilce Portacio was still working on it. Doesn't exist anymore.
. Weapon Zero. Doesn't exist anymore.
Anime
. Ebichu-chan. :D
. Punni Punni Poemi. Kind of a follow up to Excel Saga. Imagine all of the insanity of Excel Saga pushed into two half hour eps.
. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.
I could just keep on going with the Anime section, but I wont :D

i enjoy FLCL!
something about that anime has a nice freshness that others don't seem to...
perhaps it's the regularly changing animation style or perhaps the music...dunno

I have two favorite comics...'Invincible' by Cory Walker and 'The Pro' by Amanda Conner. I like 'The Pro' because it's abut a hooker who becomes a superhero. Just think what a super-hooker can do with super-speed. Heh.:D

I've been out of comics for a while.
But, I'll agree the Weapon Zero rocked. Benitez's detail was crazy.
His run on the Darkness was good to.
Um, Battle Chases & Danger Girl. Duh.
Joe Mad is such a talented designer.
Jeff Scott Campbell is one of the more consistant artists around. Plus he's got a great sense of humor.
Inhumans - the Jenkins and Jae Lee run.
I'm more artist based.
Check out Travis Charest's work on Wildcats.
Anything Alex Ross & Adam Hughes.
Look for Angel Medina as well. Currently doing Spawn. Great artist. Great guy too.
Carlos Pacheco's run on Xmen was good.
Kaare Andrews covers on the Hulk and other stuff is great.
That's what is on the top of my head.

Hey Skank. When you say the Macross Plus Mini series, I guess you mean the four part OAV? If so, you should check out the Movie Edition. I think it is heaps better. It does cut out a fair bit of action, but it makes it more solid. It is also a really good anime to watch. There are just so many though :D
Plastic Little (Satoshi Urushihara is the man)
Perfect Blue. Show it to people who say that all anime is crap.

I used to read Marvel-Stuff primarily X-Men and some Mangas as well. But Im not really into it.
atm I read SHAMO , dunno if its really known. Serious, this manga has some stunning characters and dramaturgy. Plus I like the art.
I've also read Berserk, Island and some other stuff. Island has amazing artworks but the story is totally messed up by unbelievable characters/character development and dialogues. Sometimes its just plain stupid :/
Nowadays my favorite comics are elftor and dilbert XD bad arts, but great humor ;)

I liked watching Excel Saga...well, the first DVD, then after watching the second one I'd had enough. I guess the humor just didn't jive with me. I like Hyatt, and also that little hand-held "romance" game Ilpalazzo plays...funny!:D

Phill that was wierd you have almost the same list as me( Huge fan of Benitez and Angel Medina ) . I would add Masamune shirow to that list and put the Ghost in the shell books on there . I think anyone would has read METABARONS would also put that book and Jaun Gimenez on there list for comics .
Anime ( I am a total snob )
Vampire Hunter D 1-2
Anything by Miyazaki ( especially spirited away )
Ghost in the shell
Akira ( though the comic was better )
Patlabor
Ninja Scroll
