The environments are pretty nice. The ellipses are off on the fourth one. The perspective lines on the steps in the third one need to be sharper. Maybe put a figure in some of those lanscapes so we get an idea of scale. Do something with the buildings in the last environment. I feel like the environments need more of a focal point. I take it you've been looking at Feng's sketching environments DVD. I agree with Rayl that it appears you spent much more time on the environments.

Love the landscapes :D

The characters are also cool, but the second one looks a little oddly weighted. With that axe, it looks like she should be falling over. Otherwise they look cool.

@Rayl
thx. his hand's a little bit to small, isn't it. but i'm glad that you like the landscapes :)

@Joeslucher
thx for your thoughts. you're right with Feng's DVDs, i really like his way of doing what he does and tried his method (well, i tried :) ) Btw, how do you recognized that?
i did't get your last sentence, sorry.

@Aven
thx. you're right with her position. i tried to make it a bit snake-like, but i think i failed doing so :)

I saw the Feng influence because I watched the videos recently and how you dealt with the cities at the vanishing point is very much like how he dealt with them in the dvd. The first one reminds me of the environment he did in the sketching environments, the spacing and lighting of your spheres are very close to his catwalks. I'm in NO WAY saying you copied him by the way. Noboday take it that way. Sometimes we just take a mental note of how someone dealt with a problem like the vanishing point.

I'm loving your environments. Most impressive for your first time. I'm still to chicken to tackle such detail and perspective. Your figures have potential. They just seem a little overworked. Start doing studies of things like hands and gesture. Break out your sketch book and try to find different ways to tackle both. Don't put any pressure on yourself either. Do as many as you can and don't worry about the results. You'll learn a lot by doing this, you'll find yourself much more comfortable with them. Keep it up!!!

@Joeslucher
i didn't think that you've meant it that way :)

@Capprotti
thx. you're absolutely right. "overworking" is my problem number one. hope i'll handle that soon :)
