The journey beggins!... (New sketchbook, New User)

New here... :) A bit anxious too...

Decided to open a sketchbook. I'll post all my sketches, ramdom scribbles, doodles, studies, and new ideas... just wait and see ;)

Ok then... first addition :) A bunch of girls sketches I did while heading home in the autobus last friday...
I hate the biggest face. Didn't help at all that the road was bumpy in that exact moment *rage*

I'll leave to you to guess which two faces are my favorites :)

(I'll post "old" and new sketches mixed in the future, i'll tell you which is which, don't worry)

I like how you draw faces =) No need to be anxious I can see a lot of potential here ;) Now show us some full-body pics!

Sorry if I delayed the updates... I've got a job and I'm getting used to having less time for browsing and so on...
Let's start then :)

The first image is a bunch of crappy sketches done during a boring class... that's why you can see some text there XD

The next can be found at deviantArt too (http://miatosakura-chan.deviantart.com/art/Yellow-126944843) Something I did based on a thumbnail drawing made on mini yellow post-it notes (I love using those tiny papers to make doodles. I have light yellow, bright yellow and orange ones; I'll upload some of those next time) This pic show one recurrent mistake I make when drawing faces: I make the nose too long then the mouth has to be lower and the chin becomes small... I'm always checking my proportions when drawing but this time I let myself be carried away... *sigh*

The third one is just a warm up done on SAI... I like how the drawing on the left, the face of the girl, turned out (I spent more time on her, that's why) the other one is half-assed with crappy anatomy... I always focus on faces more than the bodies... my bad.
