Gawd, this one has been painful... Well, I've rushed it and I just thought I'd let you guys tear it apart, and see if there's is anything major wrong.
( the headline was just added for myself to see if it was gonna fit, I guess the Art director wants to fiddle around with the text anyway). Well, I got some days 'til deadline so any help is thankfully accepted.

Hey, that looks pretty sweet. I love it.
Love the folliage, looks really, really nice.
The black on the Storm Troopers though (gloves, stomach area, etc.) Seems too dark. Maybe add a little bit of gray to it (very small amount) it would improve some of the edges a little better, so that you could actually see the hands and knees, etc.
Also, the red blaster rifle shots look really odd, like the one coming out of the tree and the ST. Maybe you could soften them up a bit, so they look less like crystals growing out of someone.
Looks really great, I just have to say that. It seems, though, that there is no light source, truly. And in effect, you sort of lose the contrast with shadows. Maybe you could make your darks darker and lights lighter.
These are just suggestions for making your piece look nicer, even if you dont touch it its a great piece!

no need to tear it apart, its quite obvious uve put a lot of effort into it. well and try and point out just 2 things that i think could have used some attention..
the little dude behind doesnt seem scaled right next to the far trees, while the hit guy looks a bit small next to the one near him. its all some prespective issues with the trees, i suspect.
also notice u make the lower of the legs (below the knee.. whatsitcalled) too short.. its visible on both figuers, those kind of mistakes r infectious

More Swedes? Nice to see that great stuff can come from back home aswell :)
Kalas as I would say in my native language (and yes it sound silly there too). Really like the great contrast of black against the colours. The way i prefer to work myself. Love the sky and the leaves. Might want to agree on the blaster shot there though - somehow my eyes keep fooling my so that it actually looks as the stormtrooper is being hit in the worng place, but it must of course be correct and itīs just my eyes that are fooling me... Mayby some motion blur would make the blast softer?
Otherwise I agree totaly - really nicely done! Would like to see it without text!

technically great, it looks cool. but... where do the lasers come from? i couldnt find the source for the one going through the tree or the trooper. theres no gun shooting. :/ maybe i just dont see it.

I think adding some motion blur will make your image more dynamic

Damn fine job, the only maybe crit would be the angle of the blaster bolts trajectory(sp) The angle of the shots should be lower. I made a Vietnam piece in the same mannor where fire was commin from the base of the tree line. I would consider what galon said about motion blur. Especialy the bolts. The bolt comin out of the stormies chest looks very hard almost like a comet. Since its a burst of plasma motion blur should make it good. Oh and one more thing, play around with adding sparks. If you seen the movies every time a stormie gets hit it almost looks like fire works since sparks come out. Dont have to add it just an idea. The atmosphere is really well done. What program did you use? If its all right i'd like to show you some different angle perspectives.

Might just be me, but could it be that the poor dude getting shot has really small feet. I think technically they are in proportion but the just seem REALLY SMALL. Might be because of the size of sorrounding legs.
just a thought. :)

the foliage on the far right need work... id make the tree a lot more splintered... just more exploded.. everything should have more of the color of the sky in it.. the suits seem way too white for that environment.. is the blaster shot going through the guy? seems like a wierd angle to be going, like if someone was crouching behind the tree had shot him...
decent start so far
