Gasp ! 3 days I'm struggling with that pic. I'm not accustomed at all to work on a single illo that long. Tell me what you think of it, I just can't tell if it's worth the work or not by now.

It's supposed to depict one of my prefered villains.

one of my fav from you, Monsieur.
the only thing bugging me is that her right hand isn't really on the wall (if it's supposed to be...). Maybe the hand should be more in the wall's pers.

Putain jsuis nul en anglais, jespere que tu as compris. En fait, la main n'est peut etre pas assez inclinée, heu, comme la pers du mur. voilà.

wow
i love this man, shes one of my favorite villains also, she was so damn scary when i was little!!
everything looks great, except her right arm (the one touching the wall) its hard for me to place whats wrong, i think its the forshortening, the depth is a bit lost and her arm just looks short, like shes not actually touching the wall. thats a tough angle!!

i love everything else tho, very cool take on this classic character!

She seems out of balance, like her pose isn't natural. Also, her right arm seems a bit weird. Awesome coloring job though.

looks great,

maybe just work a bit on the crow and the crystal "ball". and add some detail to the wall behind her ( maybe add a flag or something more, not only bricks ).

excellent job on the girl

j'aime la femme... ;)

Great work! I love the atmosphere. The red lighting is quite effective and beautiful.

Critique: She looks like she's about to tip over (to her right)....there are definitely some center-of-gravity issues with her pose. You probably don't want to hear this, but I'd recommend starting over with the figure so her stance is more solid.

It looks like you're using a Poser rendering as a base for your drawing. There's nothing wrong with that, but you might benefit from spending more time in Poser making sure the gesture is 100% what you want BEFORE you spend all that time painting on it.

Just my opinion,

G

Dude Dude Dude...

it is a killer piece, well worth the numerous man hors spent on it...

besides minor tweaking issues..it will turn out awesome...for instance the balance issues could be remedied if her right hand is firmly planted on the wall almost as if she was leaning on it...kill 2 birds with one stone i say...

In a matter of fact the past week or so, you have been churning out some spectacular pieces...

It's beautiful reminds me of the John Singer Sargeant piece, Madame X!
Lovely work.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but she doesn't look off balance to me, more 'in motion'

I like it alot as it is now, the only thing I would suggest is to make the crow look less "hairy" and to make the green far background a touch darker--the areas in the beam of light are compressing the space a little.

I'm still impressed by how quickly you've been creating these images!

Maleficent. Excellent idee, ca m'inspire a en faire une version dans le future. I also think she's one wicked cool villain ideed, and so misunderstood, like all the others, right?

I like it a lot, the light and colors, and the fact that you made her sexier than the Disney one. If I were to say something, I'd say her right hand is ackward to me, that is too big by comparison to the other one and to the arm. Actually, I think the entire right arm needs more work (not much) to integrate it more within the painting. To me, that's the only thing that doesn't seem to belong in the scene.

Wonderful staff, wonderful crow, awesome hat thing :)
