Liquitex soft body acrylics for now. I have been trying oils and I don't seem to be liking the style as much. I am also looking into using a mixture of acrylic painting and digital painting with photoshop.

Uncalled for. The topic you are linking to is asking what ONE medium you would choose if you only had ONE option.

I've been using crayon type stuff lately: lithograph crayon, china marker, oil pastel. China marker's basically the same as the litho crayon, except cheaper, but litho crayon comes in different hardnesses.
I like the speed of the them. It's easy to bust out lines or tones easily, good value range, it doesn't smudge as easy as charcoal, it has a nice texture, don't have to worry about details, good for doing Bridgman studies. It has a soft blunt feel on the paper, with hard small pencils I sometimes dig into the paper, I don't like that feeling.

yea because the word 'favorite' cannot possibly mean a single preferred medium. i'm so wildly off topic. kudos to you for uncovering my master plan to derail this thread. you have defeated the dreaded troll monster. +15 internets to you.
oh look other threads with 'favorite' in the title about preferred aspects of art.

thanks for blatantly ignoring my contribution to the thread wherein i stated that the search feature is my favorite medium.
but i lied:
the foreskin of aborted infants is stretched over a frame as my canvas and i paint on the surface with the tears of rape victims and taco bell mild sauce. i exclusively paint insect battles. the tools i use are a super-soaker xp75 and a hungry hungry hippos board game as a palette.
dats da' best medium n tools dawg.

And then secondary ones that I find fun but don't use often are:
Oils
Watercolors

Charcoal. And most recently I have enjoyed the freedom of acrylic with oils.
