The only two finished pieces from the previous year to even be halfway decent.

Second one from photo reference.

I second that. I feel uneasy about posting anything on facebook. Their policies seem to change like a flag drifting in the wind.

I like your work. You have a great textural quality in all the images. That first portrait has some seriously funky shape design, but it looks good.
The landscape looks, to me, perhaps a bit too fuzzy. Like it lacks focus and gets a bit too nondescript?
Did you do these in photoshop?

Anyway, great work. Do post more!

great

the enviro is very good but like thomas said, lack off focus: perhaps cropping the man.

keep posting, and don't hesitate to talk about them i love that

You are definetly up to something good here! So far your use of colour is fresh and lively, especially in the portrait of the dark girl. Beautiful!

Unfortunately I really don't have much unfinished stuff on this computer. I'll scrounge around and see what I can find. I'll be sure to scan in some sketches when I have time.

To those who said the environment was too fuzzy, I agree. probably has a lot to do with an overuse of textures.

Here's John Lennon, done for our "Celebrity Portrait" project we just had at the Illustration Academy. That's the Dakota building in the background. The Academy is fantastic. I've learned more from two weeks here than I have spending a year at Ringling College of Art and Design.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words of support.
