First of all, i'm new here so don't beat me if I'm posting this in the wrong forum! ):

Anyways, I'm 16 and I'm really looking to improve my work so I can hopefully get accepted into either OCAD or Sheridan! The thing is, I ( and this is going to sound bad..) have never really finished a piece that I was completely satisfied with. I'm hoping to work on this within the next year or so, but I'm not sure if I should enroll in an art class or a course so I can have someone kicking my butt to finish something, or if I should just try to work on it on my own?

I'm leaning more towards going somewhere, but unfortunately I can't find any studios or art courses in the Mississauga/Oakville that run all year 'round.

Does anybody know of any that they can direct me to? I would definitely appreciate it and give lots of kudos. (:

The Mississauga Valley School of Art has a great pre-college program. The teacher Kerry Kim is an excellent instructor and creates a great learning environment.

I have attended his open-life drawing when they had it and found the facilities to be pretty decent, and the student work to be excellent.

here is their site http://mvsa1234.brinkster.net/
