Is there a way to set up a default or favorite folder in PS (CS4)?

I'm working with many files from different folders and want to save them in a specific folder. so every time i have to navigate to this folder; what a waste of lifetime!!! :wtf:

i know that some programs do have this function (fruity loops...)

Q: Is there a way my donkey can go 180 mph?

A: You have a Maserati. I think that will go 180 mph.

Q: OK  and now my donkey?

Poor example, since you can rotate it in the Photoshop currently shipping, as well.

The point is the way Adobe wants you to manage favorites while using Photoshop is with Bridge

The way I got around this problem was to use a program called Tweak UI (it's one of the Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP). Under Common Dialogs > Places Bar > Custom places bar, you can change what the Windows dialog shows on the places bar for the Open and Save As dialogs. I created a folder on my desktop called Shortcuts, gave it a spiffy icon, told Tweak UI to use that folder as one of the places to show and I can put shortcuts to all the projects I'm currently working on in there. So, with a little set up, you can navigate to a specific folder with a couple of clicks when you go to save a file.

Yeah, I know I switched over to using the Windows dialog, probably because it supported preview thumbnails. I was trying to experiment but I can't find how to switch it back to using the Adobe file dialog.
