I just got Painter 8 and a wacom and I started playing with the Impasto set of tools and the depth lofter/eraser/smearer. For about 30 minutes of work I really had a party with the results. The only real issue I'm having is that I can't figure out how to flatten the results without saving it to JPG then importing it back into painter so that I can touch it up. How do I make the impasto depth stuff fixed so that I can paint over it again as if it's just flat values and colors?
