Trying to paint to get away from 20 years of pencilsketching.

photoshop 1 hrs. Need to be more quick and loose and remember the main shapes. Crits anyone?

Well, inspired by 40K at least. As is most of what I do. The Inquisitor rulebook just blows my mind. Look into it if you haven't. That Kopinski dude is something else altogether. Paints kindof Rembrandtish but fantasy/SF motifs. Great!

very nice, i really like it.
i think some areas are lacking of sharpness, especially his heads top etc.
nevertheless very good in my opinion. :)

wow cool
would be even better if you would get rid of the bad pixels (out of lines etc.)

Hanuka:
Sharpness. Good point. Especially in the focus area (head). Areas toward the edges are intentionally unsharp. Bad idea?

demOn:
If I understand correctly about bad pixels, I need also look into the brush settings for sketchwork. Thank you!

Considering that GW seems to be running quite a tight operation i doubt that they would allow him such an independent thing as a website or spare time enough to do it privately. Please tell me if you find one.

Ale:
Thank you!

i think the overall sharpness is okay, it gives the picture a nice look. only the head's top is somehow lacking of sharpness, especially as its the pictures focus. yep.
