I was going to do something zany or mysterious - like putting a dead fetus in my palm in the drawing. Instead I spent the entire time playing with Painter 7 and trying to learn how to use the chalks properly using my mouse to draw. On the plus side, it is purple, so that's always semi-unique. Everyone else is going to be way zanier though, probably going to be a lot of knives/guns/cuts/blood. I hope someone slips a penis in one of these hand drawings, that never stops being funny.

im really bad at coloring pictures. i still use paintshop 5, do you know any good tutorial or ways to give some good colors to such pictures? im not really used to the app yet.

Well, I got a Wacom for Christmas so I now have inumerable things to learn. Normaly I draw with pens or pencils so I want to learn to work in a more painterly style.

To be unique I decided to upload a opencanvas event file with my image. I have been wishing more people would make these, and now that I can use OC I guess I should contribute.

There's all kinds of funkyness going on in this hand and I had trouble fighting my urge to draw lines. Oh well, I'll do better next time.

Congrats on fighting that urge... lines are incredibly useful buggers, but learning to see and work with and draw planes of value is an awesome thing, and none too easy at times. Off to bigger and better things!

This is actually my hand, could I get some help over here? It's really hard to type with a stake in your hand, using a wacom is ok, thankfully.

My son, Holden (5 years old), likes to follow the DSG and typically does the sketch for the day along with me. Every so often, I like to share what he does:

Those are dragons coming out of his fingers, with webbing inbetween and the viens are blue. He used real oil pastels.

Yeah wow, I've just been roving through a lot of the old old old DSG's... amazing. If you have the time, check them out. I tried to sketch something after I got home from my parents this evening, but I'm pretty doped up on cough syrup and I feel about as sharp as a bowling ball. I gave up trying after twenty minutes of staring at the screen.

I just wanted to say that I think there's a lot of good stuff today - everyone outdid themselves. Tons of very funny and unique stuff.
